Because They Don’t Like Brown People

(2 pm. – promoted by ek hornbeck)

The Republican Racists now want to repeal the 14th Amendment to the Constitution that grants citizenship to those born on U.S. soil Why? Because they come here to “drop babies”. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wants to hold hearings so the “experts” can be heard. “Experts”? He means racists. The Democrats might not be the best choice for voters but the Republicans have more than jumped the shark, they are swimming with them.

They still haven’t absorbed the Prop 8 litigation lesson, that calling wingbats to espouse talking points is not the same as calling experts to talk about matters beyond the ken of the ordinary person.  They probably don’t know the distinction because they’ve used Congressional hearings for years as an echo chamber.  They call “experts” who give opinions based on supposition, speculation, myth, or fantasy, and then they claim that they “proved something.”  What asshats.

The simple fact, and I’m sure this can be borne out by the data, is that nobody sneaks across the border, decides that having a child they will have to take care of for the next 18+ years, would be a good idea because quirks in the immigration law might let them use the citizen child as an anchor to solve their immigration problems.  Sheesh.

Aren’t there some meds these RWNJs could take that would alleviate their paranoia and obvious ideas of reference?

If ya repealed the WHOLE 14th Amendment, those pesky “equal protection” and “due process” clauses that the gays are always yammerin’ about would go away too.  It’s a win-win-win situation!
