    You’re just not getting it!

    Joe is “morally troubled”, you see.

    You’re supposed to feel sorry for him, and cry for him.

    Pat him on the back, tell him how much you understand how hard this must be for him, that it’s killing you to see him so conflicted since you know how hard he tries and that you can feel his intense almost unbearbable pain over the awful sacrifice it is for him to serve, and tell him that you’ll always be there for him no matter what!

    No human should have to bear the weight of sorrows that Joe does.
