Rosberg starts 8 points ahead of Hamilton in the Driver’s Championship but in 2nd position after Qualifying, and by a lot- almost half a second. On the other hand Rosberg generally starts better. They’re tring to gin up some excitement about the Team Championship by talking about ho Red Bull is getting so close to Mercedes and are better on tires.
Pfui. Mercedes could and probably should clinch today with 5 races to go. The question is can Ferrari rise up and challange Red Bull from 15 points back. Red Bull claims Row 2 off the Grid and Ferrari Row 3. Don’t hold your breath, Ferraris are bricks this year and barring mechanical failure or another reason to DNF should be even farther behing after the race.
They just resurfaced Sepangso it’s very smooth, which does not translate into fast usually. It’s very, very hot as it always is and that’s tough on machinary. On offer today will be Hards, Medioums, and Softs, mostly everyone will be starting Softs and it’s pretty clearly either a 2 or 3 Pit race
