Exit Polls are starting to trickle out so I’ve decided to put this up a little earlier than I planned. The first Polls (in this case meaning actual results and not ‘scientific’ samples) will close at 7 pm ET.
Frankly I think results will come quicker than the pundits are promising. I know Dixville Notch, New Hampshire and while they are traditionally the first place to report (votes were cast and counted at 12:01 am ET) they’re also reliably Republican. It is of some significance that they voted Hillary over The Donald 4 – 2. Ayup, 6 votes total which is also significant because there are at least 12 voters and they didn’t all suddenly die or go to bed early as they take themselves quite seriously.
I expect a Clinton (for good or ill) landslide, 308+ Electoral College votes. We will see a Democratic Senate Majority (ugh, Chuck Schumer), sorry Kelly= you’re done. It is entirely possible they’ll take the House too, at the very least Paul Ryan will have to move out of the Speaker’s offices, the Teabbagger Trumpies think he’s a Quisling and he is, but not for the reasons they’re pissed at him.
TMC (who is a lot more pkugged into the horse race than I am) says it could be 2006 all over again. Our bootlicking Beltway Media didn’t see that one coming because, well…, they’re idiots or liars and probably both. All they care about is ‘Gets’ and ‘Beat Sweeteners’.
We shall see.
