Prime Time

In all the Throwball excitement I feel I may have passed too quickly over the reputed demise of Sarah Palin’s Alaska.  Unlike some I didn’t think it totally unwatchable from a reality TV standpoint.  Better than Dog The Bounty Hunter, not quite so good as Billy The Exterminator.  I’ll be sad to see it leave

V premier.  NCIS x 2 premiers.  Nova Earthquakes; Frontline, Independent Lens Haiti.

We’re gonna bring this party up to a nice respectable level. Don’t worry, we’re not gonna hurt anyone. We’re not even gonna touch ’em. We’re just gonna make ’em cry a little, just by lookin’ at ’em.

Later-

Dave hosts Vince Vaughn, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, and Cage the Elephant.  Jon has Colin Firth, Stephen Chris Hughes.  Conan hosts Javier Bardem, Rashida Jones, and Steel Train.

“Lights Out” got a really good review on NPR today. It was written by the person who wrote “Sideman,” one of the best plays I’ve seen in recent years and Bill Irwin is in the cast.

Don’t know much more about it but it might be worth viewing.

‘Ozzie and Harriet’s’ David Nelson dies

    By Variety Staff

He was the last surviving cast member of iconic show

David Nelson, who grew up in front of America in “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” died Jan. 11 in Century City, Calif., of complications from colon cancer. He was 74.

Nelson was the last surviving member of the Nelsons TV family: actor-bandleader Ozzie; his singing wife, Harriet Hilliard; and his teen-idol younger brother, Rick. The show, which originated on radio in 1952 as “Here Come the Nelsons,” ran for 320 episodes from 1952 to 1966 as “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” on ABC. On the radio show, the boys were portrayed by pros, but they persuaded their parents to allow them to play themselves for the smallscreen.

face off with your relative listings of the shows!

Please note that I NEVER looked that Palin one, for two reasons.  First, I have no respect for her.  Second, and more seriously, she took my TIME SLOT!  So I have no use for her!  I have had that Sunday time slot not only here, but also at ‘dharma and KOS for years!  And she had the audacity to steal it!  Well, such is her nature.  LOL!  This is only half laughing.

As an aside, I just finished a piece of fiction that I think the the audience would find interesting, but there does not seem to be a fiction category for it here.  Any guidance?

Oh, by the way, eating hot lead whilst dancing on hot steel whilst peach pits are inserted in painful places is a better alternative than to watch the damnable Dog.  He needs to be in the penitentiary.

    Warmest regards,

    Doc
