    weather in today’s “On This Day In History” you put this up. Either a case of poor timing on my part or a case of “great minds” think alike. I think I will go with the great minds theme. It sounds soooooo much better.

    Did I happen to mention that I really, really dislike winter.

    I got out earlier this afternoon and with the help of the other neighbors cleaned off the walk and driveway of the elderly woman next door who lives alone. Four of us made it short work.

    She has a daughter and s-i-l that are apparently not able to come over and help her. I suppose like most folks they both have to work.

    The temps are suppose to drop into the teens tonight and stay cold for the next several days. That made it all the more imperative to clear the ice coated 6 inches of snow today.

    They’ve scaled back Sunday’s forecast to snow showers which could translate to another 6 inches. Yippee

    yeah, I’m done with winter.

    I’m grateful to live in an apartment building with a deeded parking space along with my owned condo, and I’m ready for spring!
