So this one won’t be a sweep. There will be at least 2 games at the Dodgers (92 – 72) and if the Nationals (96 – 68) can eek out a win in either of them they’ll finish up at home.

For the Nationals to win today they’ll have to have continued production from Murphy who was a not too shabby Metropolitan in last year’s Championship campaign.
The Dodgers will be sending out Kenta Maeda (R, 16 – 11, 3.48 ERA) who is easily the better pitcher (though not an ace by any stretch of the imagination. The Nationals will counter with Gio González (L, 11 – 11, 4.57 ERA) who’s much stronger against the Dodgers than his numbers indicate and is a Lefty which gives them fits whenever they face one.
