140th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

Yeah, it’s that time of year again which means March Madness is just around the corner (yay me).

I’ll try to keep this short on top because the tables are quite extensive and list each breed with links to the WKC breed characteristics. Tonight’s Groups are Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding.

The live broadcast is on CNBC starting at 8 pm ET because of USA’s WWE Monday Night Raw obligations. If you’re watching a bunch of steroid freaks you’re probably on the wrong channel. There will be repeats at various points in case you miss it.

We’ll be announcing the breeds as each one is presented for judging and hopefully I’ll be quick enough to catch first, second, and third place. If you want a little light reading to go along with the doggies I found this piece by Kim Kavin over at Salon-
