    1. I’m not as big a fan of Larry as some are.

Tweety had a horrible segment on affirmative action today with Pat the Racist and Eugene Robinson.

      1. O’Donnell was at NN10. There has been some interesting feedback that the Net Roots are not happy with Obama ad the direction he’s taking.

There was a lot of discussion about reforming the Senate rules and ow it can be done by a simple majority which O’Donnell went into tonight. I saw the Sen Reid’s appearance and there were a lot of questions about ending Rule 22 on filibuster.

      2. pictures from the game tonight. It was really a beautiful day, still very warm but far less humidity and a great breeze.

Tough to see; periodically attention is diverted at Staten Island games by passing sea-going vessels (r)

You just don’t see a lot of public acquariums in the subway. http://yfrog.com/702i2j one of two at the St George ferry terminal

  2. “Spartacus:Blood and Sand”….. it should actually be called “blood and skin” or “blood and sex”. My new tv has this button where I can connect instantly to netflix since there is nothing on tv I put all of the episodes in line up.

So bad it is good. It looks like a video game and the acting is awful but I have a certain affection for Roman themes and I spent several hours doing housework/garden work yesterday so I needed something to veg to and it filled the bill.

    1. I was outside most of the day, too, down at the marina watching the tide go in and out and reading the books that the HO series “True Blood” are based. Don’t ask why someone involved in Emergency Medicine would want to read books about Vampires, I blame my daughter and Turkana for getting me hooked on the series while I was on sabbatical last year.

Heh, I was actually sleepy at 11 PM, I passed on TDS/TCR and went to bed. Now I’m playing catchup.
