Prime Time

No Keith, Rachel.  The Boys are back in town.

8 – 2 last night, much more entertaining than a no-hitter.  Jon, I’m going to give you some personal advice, once that beard starts itching in a week or two you won’t be able to get rid of it fast enough.

Men of Honor is good, but not so good I’d watch it twice in a row.  Charlie is the Johnny Depp version.  New Mythbusters @ 9- Bottle Bash.

Later-

  • AMCTroy (Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?)
  • SciFiHaven
  • Turner ClassicsNetwork
  • USABurn Notice (this week’s)

Dave has Michael Keaton and The Flaming Lips.  Jon has Robert L. O’Connell, Stephen Elon Musk.  Alton does Molasses.

Ice Station Impossible is the introduction of Professor (voice of Stephen Colbert) and Sally Impossible, and Pete White and Billy Quizboy.  It includes the death of Race Bannon (Yeah, they never show that part on TV.)

Does Random House have some kind of deal where it’s authors can’t be listed in Wikipedia?

it’s much easier to build a cannon out of duct tape than leather.

Duct Tape it has its light side and dark side and holds the universe together. It also cures warts

The study was conducted at the Madigan Army Medical Center near Tacoma, Wash. It began with 61 patients between the ages of 3 and 22, but only 51 patients completed the study.

Of the 26 patients treated with duct tape, 85 percent got rid of their warts compared with 60 percent of the 25 patients who received the freezing treatment.

Researchers did not test the duct tape on older adults and also did not study whether warts recurred.

The apparent curative powers of duct tape are no surprise to Tim Nyberg, one-half of the Duct Tape Guys, who write books and perform comedy about the adhesive’s allure. Nyberg said he and his duct tape partner, Jim Berg, do a shtick that includes duct tape wart removal.

“It’s the universal panacea,” Nyberg said.

is in some part incoherant to my limited TV knowledge, but a lot of it is just plain old incomperhensive. Perhaps I suffer from not being able to disinguish what is what or where or how these vehicles are located and what the fuck I would care, or maybe I would if I could  watch them, hard to say as I am stuck in the MSNBC and Comedy Central loop.

Chris Hayes as a sub sounds like a good thing.Racheal is irrating me mightly with war loving or not. My hope is I don’t offend any one here. A sad thing when all you can hope for is not to trip the wire.

duct tape? must go turn on tv.

anyone claiming to be progressive/left/DFH/whatever, that supports anything but getting our troops out of the Iraq and Afghanistan is pissing me off, mightily. That includes Rachel.

Well, if you’re really intrigued by something I could help you find it.

I don’t include channel numbers because they vary.  Networks are kind of limited by my basic cable plus sports package.

My primary tool for developing the list is Yahoo TV Listings and…

I like what I like.  Doesn’t mean you have to like it or that what you like is not superior in every respect.

I’ll admit that when I wrote ‘No Keith, Rachel’ I was going for the ‘No Coke, Pepsi’ joke, but when I found out that Chris was substituting I looked at it again and said- ‘meh, good enough’.

Your point about Rachel is well taken.  Her Obamabot cheerleading is a bit nerve wracking at times so I just find something else to watch.

I don’t much include times and the reason for that is it makes the formatting complicated.  I only have the 2 hours between my Evening Edition news deadline and Prime Time and while in a more organized world I’d have weeks of them stacked up I must admit I slack and do them at the last minute.
