James Risen is of course The New York Times reporter who broke the story about the CIA passing along “fake” Nuclear Bomb plans to the Iranians expecting them to lose months and years in development work on their false lead, only to find it almost instantly detected by their scientists and the candy coating on their poison pill used to advance the program much farther than they had tried to retard it.

Oops.

He’s currently under pressure fom the U.S. government to reveal his source because we can’t have the USAian people thinking the CIA is a collection of collossal fuck ups.
