F1: Hungaroring

Hmm…  Maybe this isn’t as suitable for blogging as I hoped.

I really don’t have much to add to yesterday’s set up except that the flex wing may be more significant than I thought.  The Red Bulls and Ferraris that are using it are 1.2 seconds a lap faster than everything else on the track.

Here’s a link to the Speed Racecast commentary.

Below the fold is the starting grid.

  1. I should stop trying to over do.

  2. The US team that couldn’t start this year because of financial problems is totally withdrawing their bid because of…

    Wait for it.

    Financial problems.

    U.S.A.!  U.S.A.!

  3. Look for tires to die.

  4. Three Springs Valley is the local name for the location of the track.

  5. Alonso split the Red Bulls.

    Alguersuari blew up!

  6. Unless he blows up this is done after 5 laps.

  7. Expect pits soon.

  8. are the other teams using the F Duct.

  9. Safety car out for debris.

    And there is much pitting.

  10. Carnival of Errors.

Renault plows into Force India.  Rosberg drives off without a wheel.

  11. Hamilton broken.

Any Red Bull that finishes will take over the Driver lead.

  12. Might have to do a stop and go.

  13. He was very quick (though not enough), might have picked up another penalty.

  14. And I though Button was easy on tires.

  15. At least one of the Pit crew were injured by Rosberg’s tire.

  16. 26 Laps to go.

    Retains lead.

    1. But only one.
